The Lodge at Drove Farm

Idyllic is the only word you can use to describe this immaculately refurbished, peaceful escape set on the fringes of the bustling Georgian market town of Alresford, Hampshire.

Dating back to the 1700’s, The Lodge, formerly known as New England Cottages, is the epitome of rural charm which could easily have been plucked from the script of an old English novel. Windows frame picture perfect views out to the landscaped gardens and the beautiful chalk stream River Arle beyond.

The Lodge, which comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, welcomes entire families including our beloved four legged friends for stays of four nights or more.

Main Living Space – Original oak beams frame the open plan living space, with your attention being drawn to the window seats allowing you to sit and gaze at the landscaped gardens and the River Arle. On the chilly winter evenings, you can draw the curtains to the outside and snuggle in front of the fireplace with its cosy Stûv woodburner.

Kitchen – A contemporary marble-topped kitchen hints at the recent renovation with direct access to the terraced garden for Al Fresco dining or for dining inside, a wooden country table and seating for eight.

Master Bedroom – A spacious bedroom with a super king sized bed and en-suite bathroom complete with shower. Ample wardrobe space and storage accompanies the bedroom.

Bedrooms – There are an additional two double bedrooms and two single bedrooms.

Bathrooms – In addition to the master en-suite, there is one family bathroom with a bath, w/c and separate vanity unit.
