Dating back to the 1700’s, The Lodge, formerly known as New England Cottages, is the epitome of rural charm which could easily have been plucked from the script of an old English novel. Windows frame picture perfect views out to the landscaped gardens and the beautiful chalk stream River Arle beyond.
The Lodge, which comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, welcomes entire families including our beloved four legged friends for stays of four nights or more.

In recognition of this, the Itchen and its tributaries, including the River Arle, have been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation.
